  1. Nelson E. Wright was my grandmother’s grandfather who was an Union soldier who fought in the Civil War and was injured by a cannon. He was nursed to health by a plantation owner in Goldsboro. I am looking for any information regarding this. Do you have any? I live in CA so it is hard to get to NC. -Jan
