U.S. General William T. Sherman assumes command of Union forces in the West

  1. Sherman should of recieved the credit he deserved
    for what he done in the west but he didnt get nothing like that from
    lincoln, lincoln two faced sherman when they held”The Heroes Welcome
    home parade and festival” by the end of the war in the summer of 1872
    lincoln stood upon the stage and handed all the heroes medals for what
    they done but when sherman (last in line) came to recieve his medal
    lincoln exited the stage and took off squealing in his carriage down the road , a broken defeated and puzzled Sherman lay upon the steps of
    the stage crying and soiling himself.
