Here are some recent pictures taken of McGavock Confederate Cemetery in Franklin, TN.

Marcellus Cuppett helped dig many of the graves in McGavock only to succomb himself to some kind of deathly illness. He’s the only citizen buried in McGavock.
Every year, on the first Sunday in June, a local Boy Scouts group places memorial flags on each of the nearly 1,500 grave markers.
